Interfaith Academy Resources: Courses

In the fifth grade, the learner focuses on the history of the earliest times through the birth and growth of a new nation to the latter part of the 1800s when the country fought in the Civil War.  At this grade level, students enjoy hands-on-activities, projects, and cooperative group assignments.  (See handbook for map and globe activities and to learn more about inquiry-based instruction.)
