The learner will be tested on his/her ability to describe causes of common infectious diseases in order to later be able to describe both infectious and noninfectious diseases and personal health practices that minimize disease and illnesses including hand washing, covering the mouth when coughing and sneezing, not drinking after others to prevent getting colds, and being immunized to prevent measles.
