The learner will be tested on a wide range of strategies, including identifying literary elements and devices, determining sequence of events, distinguishing fiction from nonfiction, using sentence structure to assist in comprehension, drawing conclusions to determine authors' intent to comprehend third-grade recreational reading materials in a variety of genres.
